Hey guys and girls. This has been a long time coming and I mainly blame my laziness on not doing this earlier given my ability to roam these forums. Recently was the owner of a VR V6 that I owned for 4 months, got bored of it and decided to get this 2005 VZ V8. I bought it back in January completely stock standard and have since done quite a bit.

Current Mods include:

- New 19" Speedy Wheel Cheetahs
- 2 new oil and volt guages above radio unit
- Pheddified interior including instrument cluster, radio, switch, the whole lot.
- Calais headlights
- HID low beam headlights and driving lights
- LED Park lights front and rear
- Hurricane extractors, high flow cats and 3" cat to rear mufflers
- Front slotted rotors (this was more done when the old rotors wouldn't come off the damn hub when I had to replace the wheel bearing, so a steel hammers ####ed them and I thought "Well guess now's a good time to upgrade em
- K&N Airfilter (I had a Mace Engineering CAI in it, but didn't like it due to the fact that I still had a MAF in it which didn't make stuff aligned propperly and I found out about 2 months later that the intake pipe was hitting the P/S Pulley and had put holes in it allowing unfiltered air into the engine, sadly after I had just come back from a trip out west with dust)
- Phreddied AUX radio input.
- Painted engine covers (glossy silver like the car)

Future mods:

- OTR CAI (already bought, sitting at work waiting to be installed) - Done
- MAFless tune (happening this thursday when the OTR CAI will also be installed) - Done
- New auto when this one blows up (not really a mod, but thanks to the previous owner (under assumption this is) thrashing this one, it's about ready to die)
- Paint rotors and calipers - Done

Take note that the day time pics show the car quite high, which is due to the hill it's sitting on.

Oh and only other future mod at this stage is painting the Calipers and Rotos. I'm thinking Black, but I'm open to suggestions :).

I installed the Guages, I'm a car sparky by trade.

Also got the OTRCAI installed and MAFless tune done today. Was a great result overall. Had a before tune of 261HP and an after tune of 308HP. So good result all round I though.

Here's a pic of the dyno sheet. The car was tuned at Sam's Performance in Padstow. Top bloke and a great crew. Was looked after really well, he even tuned my gearbox for me which is much much better than what it was. Overall car has an extra 47HP and it alot more responsive which is a big help with the FlyBy. Really happy overall.

Finally got around to cutting the radiator/condensor shroudning to suit the OTR CAI, fits quite well now.

The foggies are the standard sv8 ones with 35W HID's in them. I had 55w HID's in them and 35W in the headlights, but decided I didn't like the light quality out of the headlights since I changed em to Calais ones, so I changed the balasts around so now headlights are 55W and much better and the foggies are 35W

Well finally got around to painting the rotors and calipers today, I rekon they came up a treat, although I would have loved to have had a longer cure time on the paint, but I didn't so some finger prints were left in them, but they still look great at a glance. Here's some before and after pics, plus some in the process images :).
