There's no doubt about it.. either it's a production Torana or the new Commodore has a hatchback sort of variant (since they're apparently dropping the wagon this makes sense?)

But it has to be finalised.. the thing comes out next year, plus I've heard the moulds for the panels are ready.. no way would they wait 'till the last second, this would have been in development since before the VY came out I reckon.. plus I've been looking for pics of this since justs after the VZ was unveiled (I look forward to the future, find it exciting and fascinating but thats just me)

Plus they had some VYs running about that were far from VYs (VE underneith)

Good find Juzza it definately could be the VE the lines are right too big to be a focus and the ford carbra is a good trick,

well it is ether a new ASTRA or the VE

I've seen the new astra and thats not it, note the VZ style mirrors, the flared guards, the 4 exhausts and in the center of the bottom of the rear bumper has some VZ cues as well
