Hey everyone, just got my 06 and am loving it. Probably just being paranoid but sometimes after the system check has finished I start up and the check engine light (where it does the system check) comes on for a second then goes away. There is no other check engine light after it goes away. Is this a problem or am I not waiting long enough after the system check?

Thank you,

Aaron.

Only sure way to know is to check it with a scanner for trouble codes.
Shouldn't come on again after the system check has finished.

Hey mate get it scanned and see what codes come up and clear it.
Then see if it behaves the same way.
I got a tech2 I can scan it for you for a small fee.

Off topic which I apologise for but just for my own knowledge, are you saying you're not supposed to start the car until system check is complete?

I start mine before the system check is complete and had no problem

It is still under warrantee so I will get them to fix it. If I have any problems with them I will PM you.

Hopefully it turns out to be nothing at all but by the sounds of it, it shouldn't happen at all.

Thanks for the help. I will let you know what they say about it.

If there is an error is will display on the amber light and on the display screen. So if it goes away then your in the clear.
