I am looking for a full stainless steel exhaust system for around 1.8k give or take $100
(Can go slightly higher if needed).
I do plan to put a CAM in later on and possibly supercharge it.
I am located in Perth WA and I would prefer to support Australian manufactures if possible.
My car is a 2006 VE commodore SSV manual with a l98.
Not sure if I should go 2.5" or 3", (Suggestion are welcome)

If your planning on supercharging go 3 inch.

VE S2 SSV Redline ute
I have a full X-Force 3" stainless system on my ute, they seem to get a bit of hate on here but I quite like it

I saw there is a local shop near me called Empire Performance who would do a full 3" stainless steel exhaust for 1.6k. Any thoughts?

I saw a video on YouTube for an exhaust system made by ultrex performance in Australia it’s in your price range and seems decent quality from what I could see it has heaps of adjustability to make it all fit properly too

06 VE SSV L98
On my 06 SS-V auto i am running the VF2 340kw headers and cats mated up to a 409 S/S 2.5inch 7 series X-Force exhaust. There is some drone, but no more than what i had before with the factory setup and aftermarket rear mufflers.
I have some VF2 bimodals that i am going to fit along with my controller, one day in the near future.
All in all i am happy with my current setup, just wanna have some mild2wild control.

Got a similar setup on my ssv manual although 3 inch x force stainless with the hsv headers and not really a fan of the sound to be honest (I’m fussy when it comes to that lol) to me it just sounds like a droney big bore noise that only sounds good when ya give it a good flogging even then I’ve heard better
