2006 Vz Wagon with error code p1551 (idle air control valve)

Hi,

Need some help with my vz wagon.Power train fault showing up on dash and when i put an obd2 scanner on it,comes up with p1551 error which is idle air control valve,now the motor runs perfectly fine and idles fine though there is s slight backfire only on deceleration when revving the motor in park,otherwise no problems at all,i have deleted the codes but the come back up,it also had a p2176 code which is throttle actuator control system-idle position not learned but that cleared of and only comes up sometimes.

I havent got a clue as why this error keeps coming up as the wagon is running fine,please help point me in the right direction to sort this problem out.

Hi.

Did you ever find a solution? My VZ SV6 is doing the same. I had both codes show up but it won't let me clear P1551.

Can't find much about these codes so any help is much appreciated
