Ve commodore berlina auto v6 2007
OK 3.9s and true track center are going in on the 12/7 it'll be a couple of months before I break it in since I don't drive a lot .I think i'll star a new thread about how the car drives since it looks like im the only on this forum to have done it.When I have the box retuned im going to raise the shift point while im at it to 7000rpm from 6700 so it'll shift at the factory speeds 1st 70kph 2nd 139 so I'll get the full extra 19.2% power and torque advantage at speed, or close to it at least.
After all is done this is going to be the lengths of the gear compare to stock .
1st 70, 2nd 69 ,3rd 70 or close to it ,after 1st 58 2nd 46 and 3rd 37 .

The car has never been on a dyno so I don't know, factory peak power comes at 6000rpm and peak torque at 2600rpm , now butt dyno the car pulls hard all the way to 6700rpm and wants to keep going.
This are uncharted waters for the humble berlina .

I want to put a Truetrac and a set of 3.9's in my VZ 1 Tonner
But as yet I haven't decided on whether to buy Genuine Dana or Motive Gears
Price is not my concern either as both brands of gears are basically the same price anyway

What's your opinion on the quality of the Motive Gearsets ?
What do you guys commonly use or prefer .... Motive or Genuine Gears ?

What ever the customer requires... Motive, Richmond or Genuine.. We stock both Motive and Genuine. But mostly use Motive.
