Hi guys i put a aftermarket alarm on my ve about 3 years was all good until about 6 months ago when the alarm started going off by itself for no reason the alarm was indicating it was the bonnet being triggered took it to shop they said it was the hood sensor so I replaced it, it stopped going off for about 4 months until today it started going off again for no reason I’d like to replace the sensor and wiring from the sensor to whereever it plugs into in the car but I’m not sure where it goes and I’m wondering if anyone knows where it goes and how to trace it before I waste hours trying to find where it goes. Thanks.
