2007 ve sv6 cranks but wont start

engine cranks but wont start, any tips on fault finding please.

Sounds like a dead battery. If you turn the key for applications, do any electronics turn on?

If it were a dead battery there would be no crank , does the fuel pump buzz when you try and start ?

I was under the impression that with a dead/dying battery the car could potentially still crank. I didn't know that, thanks.
