Hi all
I'm taking my car in for service this Friday. My mate who is a mechanic own workshop normally looks at German Cars he is going to do the service.
I have always taken it to the dealer since I new. He doesn't obviously have the Holdem Tech 2 computer.. is that still OK?
The heater hoses and radiator hoses look like they need replacing and he is going to have a look at the clunk from the front end at low speed ( which after
numerous trips to Holden dealer to resolve - never were able to).
I have had the stabliser links replaced and bushes - didn't solve it.
Anyway just general thoughts on possible cause of steering rack play - normally when steering wheel is to left slightly over uneven surfaces. I have had full 4 wheel alignment completed also.
Any other possible tips or maintenance items whilst he is looking at it.. looking for full service . any items I should get him to definitely look at/replace etc.
