- 2012 HOLDEN VE SSV REDLINE
Hi all,
I recently bought a 2008 VE SSV ute seems mechanically sound, all the work done to it pushing around 500hp. The previous owner had a twin plate HD clutch in it but he swapped it out for a single plate HD clutch. Anytime you put your foot down and hit close to red line the clutch pedal will go soft and you will have to decclerate to be able to change gear again and for the pedal to go back to normal. I mean it's smooth as at normal operation. my question is that does this sound like a clutch issue or does it have something to with the clutch lines or clutch slave cylinder, by all means i'm no mechanical genius I don't much of an idea, so any advice/insight would be great.
