Thanks for the reply.Sorry I missed this post, Away for a while.
To get at the complete fuse box on the passengers side to see what behind it if I correct, I had the take the long trim where you open the door and your foot goes on it, then the complete plastic kick board with the small door, and had a good look how to detach the complete fuse box which I did so I can see the connections behind the fuse box where R1 lives. Sorry cant explain any better as my brain is on strike.
But to get to R1 (on the front only) you have to take the complete cover off not just the small door as I think you wont see it if I'm correct.
Are there any tricks to pulling off these trim pieces - don't want to break anything - or is it a case of just try to lever everything off with a bit of care?
You're right about the small door, it really only gives you access to the fuses.
