It is an Omega so it may not have BT even though it has the button.

If it doesn't detect the car when you search with your device chances are there's no Bluetooth my mum's omega doesn't have Bluetooth.

Bummer! How do I find out if it has BT or not?

Give your local dealer your vin number. They should be able to you if its optioned. Admittedly it took mine a few tries before it found my HTC one x

Good idea. I would of thought 09 models would of had it. Mum's is a 07.

Thanks for the input guys. I contacted my Cousin who is a Holden Service manager, he took the Vin number and confirmed that it it does not have a Bluetooth kit. Feeling pretty deflated actually, I'll just have to put up with the AUX option until I get an after market one.
Oh well. Back to being a commoner.

Haha that sucks, but there are some really good after market units, or if you really wanted you may be able to get a factory unit installed.

Haha, that sucks man!

Keep your eye out for a really neat unit and you will be happy!

Same kind of thing happened to me. Bought my brand new SV6 and the guy who served me was accross the road from Mitsushitty. I asked him if had Nav and he saw the button and said, yes ofcourse! Turns out the module is an option :(
