2009 ve omega wagon
Hello everyone,

Thanks in advance for reading this post, much appreciate the effort creating the network for everyone to keep this vast catalog of information alive !!!

I have a 2009 VE omega wagon with high kms / 310k

AUTO TRANS:M30
Code/Tag :9HDD

Had some transmission issues and now looking at putting a lower km 2md hand transmission in the car.

I've sourced several transmission locally to me in 2454 NSW , but nothing with the "9Hdd" code.

6HDD, 7HDD, HDD, but no 9's
from info i can find online possibly 0HDD or 1HDD could be compatible.

Apparently mine is the one without the inhibitor switch on the side..

simple question but possibly complex answer ...

Are any of the other transmission's compatible with my car, other than the 9HDD, without any mods or replacing other components etc ?

any information would be appreciated, at this stage i cant find anything locally and would also appreciate if someone knows where i might get a good low k's 9HDD if thats the only trans compatible ?!

cheers

Some news for those that may need it in the future

if you have a car like mine ^

the Holden part number for the box is 17803702

compatible boxes in addition to if you were to find an original 9HDD are

0HDD
1HDD

the code breakdown is obvious, the 9 standing for 2009 and the HDD being the box code.

any later than the 9HDD, such as the 2010 and 2011 will work in your car.

all the best.

cheers mate

further info, apparently the 0HDD and the 1HDD can be used but the car does need some programming changes.

yet to find 100% firm info from Holden directly stay tuned.

So I have a 2011 Ve omega duel fuel with transmission code 1HDD that needs replacing, so I could replace with a ‘09’ 9HDD or a 0HDD then? Thanks
