2011 VE SS Thunder Ute

Hi there guys and girls, been on this forum for a while now.
Haven't been on recently though, thought i'd post up my new (well kind of new) car.

I've owned this VE SS now for about 6 months and its only about 14 months old in total.
Its my 3rd car.

General Info:

Black, 6L V8, Manual 6-speed, approx. 10,000km when bought


Mods since owning:

Lowered - SSL King springs all round (considering TSS rear airbag setup)
Tint - 15% all round
Hard lid - 'TUFF lid' (cheap and lightweight, easy to remove too)
Wheels - 22" King with Nexen tyres
Brakes - sprayed yellow
Sound system - Stock Series II H/U (couldn't justify replacing), RE amplifier, RE 6.5" splits, 10" slim sub behind passenger seat.

Future mods:

Exhaust - Full Di Filipo (Headers, cats, cat-back)
LEDs - red Footwell lights, white puddle lights, white LED's in cabin lights (reading lights, lights behind seats etc)
Engine - OTRCAI, MAFless tune
Suspension - considering airbag rear suspension

But 10k for your calais is awesome as. My bro is looking at one for 19k with satnav roof entetainment cream leather n 110 ks. Its a six aswell

Yeah $10,500! but now owes me about $12,500 its up for rego tommorow... And i got it from a caryard as well!

Yeah the avarage price is $17k to $20K so i got it for a awesome price and mines fully loaded!

Great lookin ride man, I would have chosen silver but it's not my car is it now haha If it was I would make it my week end car, hell yeah!!!. Does it always look this clean? Me reckons it looks mean as m8.
Great future mods comin. The brake calipers suit the black nicely, would you be a Tiger fan? and it's lowered just right. Good choice on the hard lid to as with the hsv ones, it looks great but it's a prick to manage.
