Hi all I've looked hi and low for info but with not much luck. I'm wondering how to go about getting a steel bonnet upgrade with vents in it for my my SS. Problem is I don't think this model has vented genuine bonnets. So my question is which model would be perfect for mine. I don't like fibreglass ones and I want to keep it looking as genuine as I can but the missus is screaming for a vented bonnet. If I get this done for her I then get to add the VE power pack to it. Any advice or help would be awesome.
Cheers

Savage Fibreglass also do vented bonnets in steel.
You will find the different styles listed for the VE under the products dropdown menu

I should have mentioned: I don't know for sure if their Monaro bonnets are all steel, or a steel bonnet with the fibreglass nostrils moulded on.
They just say steel on their website.
I should get around to emailing them and asking the question as I want a Monaro bonnet for my 1 Tonner, and I don't particularly want fibreglass either

The Monaro bonnet from Savage is a steel bonnet with a fiberglass mould bonded and blended in.
There is also a full fiberglass bonnet available.

Tony.

Thanks for letting us know Tony, saves emailing and asking the question now. :beer chug:

I know the OP didn't want a full fibreglass bonnet, but there is only one company that I know of that makes them that are ADR Approved and legal for use on your road car:

BLITS BODYKITS HOME

From their webpage:
BLITS HOLDEN COMMODORE
100% STREET LEGAL FIBREGLASS
VENTED BONNETS

$880 WITH CERTIFICATION LETTER
100% STREET LEGAL IN ALL STATES AND TERRITORIES OF AUSTRALIA
