Damn this site! Has shown me too many things I can do to this.

    Future mods has changed:
    Bee sting aerial
    Chrome bezel foggies
Trying to find a set of ss mufflers just to set of the rear a bit better.
And just spoke to the guys at King springs and they said they should be able to help me out with the suspension on it. Just drop it that 20 or so mm and level it out. Nothing silly. I don't want to make it unusable. I've had a super low rexy years ago and it was a Bitch to get around in.

So much for leaving it standard. Oh well. Haven't touched engine... Yet

Yer to be honest I wasn't sold on the colour when I first saw it. I wanted the nitrate silver or heron white. But after a few looks I loved it. Glad I went something a bit different. It's not something I see over and over while driving around.

It's got the standard swirl marks in the paint and have spoken to a detailer about getting it back to new looking. The guy I've spoken to has said he reckons around, 450 and a full day to get it back to looking spankas. Would look sooooo good. Just gotta get the cash for it.

So found a set of ss mufflers. Be a few weeks before I get them as they are down home and I've got a mate picking them up for me.
Managed to find the 1out to 2 tips one which from research on here is better as no drone. Doing purely for looks. They look in pretty good knick and got them for 60 bucks. Also should have the bee sting aerial in the mail in the next few days. Will post pic when put them on

A piccie of the SS mufflers fitted. Look so much better than the singles. Barely notice any change in sound. perhaps a touch louder on hard acceleration.
    Best $60 spent so far!

Thinking about debading the SV6, Series II and SIDI badges off it. wayyyyy to much unnecessary information scribbled all over it. Who needs to know its a SIDI series 2 Ethanol Flex Fuel car....

Just an update. as per discussion in VE forum. I debadged her.

Pic of her new clean bum
    [IMG]

I removed the Series II badges as well, id get photos but its in the shed atm. next time its out ill get some pics

Next on the list is deciding how I want to go about a set of DRL's

Whether to do a C and reverse C in the Foglight surround or just a straight strip just about foggies. sort of HSV style. might just buy some cheap leds and see what looks nicest.

yer i do, but they are for the series 1, as far as im aware, they dont have them for s2 yet.

my idea was either of the following(not my car, google image result)

    C Type:

    HSV style
    [IMG]

It wouldnt be anything pre-fabbed. it would just be something I would make up with a string of LED's onto a relay. on with car, off with headlights
