I have a 2012 SS Commodore and the Infotainment screen stays dimmed. During the day I cant see a thing!

The screen is supposed to go bright when it is sunny, and dim when its night time, my screen stays on dimmed. It rarely goes bright, and hasn't gone bright for months now!

I am not sure if the ambient light sensor on the top of the dash needs to be replaced, (that controls the automatic headlights) but not sure if its all integrated.

Anyone with the same issue or knows any fix would be appreciated, cheers.

I think the brightness buttons above the headlight switch effect the brightness, I never noticed mine being dim at night though. I have the dash brightness on full. Can you post a picture of how dim it is

Have a look in your owners handbook at page 126 under "Setting display brightness" .If you don't have one the procedure is press config button , touch Display then touch < or > to adjust the display brightness then touch back to exit
