    BTW, when you get used to the cam, you will love it, when I cammed my ute, it was a pig, then supercharger fixed that ))), planting the sead westy, you know you want it )

    Nice, you will have to get a vid of the dyno tune if possible and another idle vid once in.

    I would love to cam my ute, unfortunatly not enough funds yet. Perhaps one day down the track.

    Cam specs, I'll see how I go with a video of dyno I'll be at work the whole time it gets installed so probably wont be able to film it. I'll definitely upload some idle ones though :)

    sounds like a fair sized cam. should get a nice lump at idle

    it's a GM Motorsport Turbo Killer cam, heard a bit of good stuff about the cam so be interesting to see how it goes.

    Ute is currently at the workshop for install and retune.. Hurry up friday!

    I've heard a few cars with that cam idling on the net and they sound sweet. I'll be interested in your opinion on its drivability. i wouldnt mind a similar cam but i dont want to go too big cause my missus drives the car and she'll whinge constantly if its a bugger to drive.

    That sounds fuggen spastic! How does it drive? What's it like when the revs are low?

    it's a bit of an animal but i love it ha! i wanted to go a big cam to try and get a new v8 feeling like an old school v8 with a bit of character.. she shakes abit at lights.. can be a bit piggy if you dont take off properly. and surges a little bit at certain speeds in too tall of gear.. but i wouldnt change a thing :)

    Nice. I think I'll definitely be looking at that cam when I get mine done... The missus will have to learn to drive it! Diff gears might also help though... Have you thought about getting some higher gears? 3.7's or 3.9's?

    yeah diff gears have been discussed.. they will be next on the list.. just comes down to money :) my ute isnt my daily so doesnt concern me too much.. not sure if that big of cam would be great for every day and specially if you live around a lot of traffic

    True... My missus only works 10 minutes from home and there's not too much traffic on the way. Not sure how much the neighbours will like it when I take it to work at 5 am on a Friday lol

    that's rough westy, but if you like it, I like it. that must be idling at 1500 rpm?
    you know, a supercharger will sweeten the the gear changes..

    the video is a cold start but it's not much quieter once shes warm ha.. not sure what it's idling at will have to recheck.. i dont reckon its much higher than 1000rpm.
    ha you willing to contribute to the supercharger fund Aussie Willy ;)
