very serious package making some serious power. awesome looking ute aussie, but seriously lose the brembo brake covers lol
Got a parcel today Only a minor adjustment to ride hight. Waiting on braided brake lines and front rotors to be made and will get it all installed togther.
Allways an unexpected expense, top bearings had seen better days. Only 11k old (( I drive her pretty hard.
Update: picked up my 20" wheels and rubber today, ill put em on the ute tomorrow. Painted in "white herron"
Hey mate what happened?? You get tired of the 19's?? Every time I receive an email notification of a comment I race to see what on earth you've done now haha, did you rob a bank??. We have the same year VE so I'm interested. Do you run E85 with the blower, or 98? What was it dynoed on 98 premium? What were the springs SSL or SSSL front and rear? Did you need shortened shocks? That's all I can think of atm lol. Cheers Willy she looks great and must be fun to drive...
Stevo do you nead some help ) I can walk you through mate. http://forums.justcommodores.com.au/pub/198459-another-new-member.html And ASxTecH, 20" supersports are a redline standard upgrade. But ill recheck as I have many unaswered questions now.
19" or 20" Supersports wont clear Brembo calipers. Only your Redline wheels, or HSV wheels will clear. Or aftermarket...........
the 20" Supersports from holden/gm have an offset of 48+. as told to me buy my local holden parts guy who looked at one he had on the floor. HSVi in there wisdome, out sourced some 20 Supersports some years ago which are not exactly after market and sold as oem. The HSVi has standard SS brakes. This is were I fugged up and went balls to the wall and got the wrong wheels, live and learn I guess. found this VE SUPER SPORT GENUINE WHEELS SIZE: 20X8.5 STUD PATTERN: 5/120 OFFSET:45 SUITE TO :HOLDEN COMMODORE
Sucks about the wheels mate, they would have looked good too. You gunna try and sell them off and find another wheel you like? Awesome ute aswell, bet she goes like the clappers
Thanks Airstrike, wasn't sure what to call em, Id like to call em "engineered brake busters" but I bet that's been taken by some smart **** blowing bark off front lawns.
