so its actually screwed in, every picture and video I could find said it was just clips but none of them had a sunroof. used a soft trim removal tool to pop out the face that the dial is on then there is 2 screws, then it just falls out basically :)

Car wouldn't start last week when it was warm, waited 10 mins and it started and ran fine.
Got the code scanned today and its P069e aka issue with fuel system...
Can anyone shed some light? the car starts and runs fine, hasn't cut out yet only failed to start that one time..
The pump primes and works fine all the time, doesn't lose power or run bad.. could it be wiring issues?

I don't know what to do since I had the pump replaced 6 months ago and I refuse to deal with the guy who changed it.
where is the fuel pressure sensor found? so I can at least check that.

thanks

Hey everyone, time to show off my new(ish) ride :)

Model: SSV Z Series
Year: MY12.5
Km's: 57,000
Transmission: Auto/Tiptronic
Colour: Black
Standard Z Options: Sunroof, FE3 suspension, Z Series badges, 19" alloys, extra shiny chrome bits, Brembos on front, Reversing camera
Engine: 6L V8

List of things to do

Sharkfin aerial
Brembos on rear
I want HID's but don't think its worth the risk
15-20% tint with a upper windshield banner
Swap out exterior bulbs for LEDs to give a more modern/new look
XX plates
Get all black plastic exterior bits in gloss black
A subtle stripe down the bottom of the doors like on the VF's
Clear bra for the whole car to protect the paint
Flow coat but not sure if it can be done on older paint
Exhaust to be ordered soon
When its payed off and I have the money I'd like to Supercharge it

Here is a couple pictures for a start

At the dealer

And at home

So far Im so impressed with the fuel economy, getting 12.5L/100

Things I'm not too fond of
  • Handbrake is horribly cheap, feel like I'm gonna break it
  • Having a sunroof means you can't have the Sunglasses holder
  • Can't see the headlight switch when driving
  • Not full electric seats on a car that was almost $60k new
Thanks for reading :)

OK so the fuel pump saga has come to an end with a fix. Fuel pump wiring harness is dodgy and is frying the pumps. Replaced pump, harness and senders. $1200(ish) all up, considering just changing the pump is like $900 you should replace the wiring harness at the same time as its only $65 for a new one!

Can we prevent that fuel pump problem by getting a mechanic to check it out or replace with a brand new one before the issue arrive?

Let's hope that is the end of it.

Yes of course, but I know some people haven't had the issue. To just change the harness its probably around $500, all labor since the pump has to come out.
