and the results are in! one week early too. do recommend Custom LS tuning in Lonsdale.

result from stock car with the full exhaust no tune

end result with full exhaust, OTR CAI and custom tune.

Runs way better, doesn't struggle on cold start, super smooth now and super happy :)

I was interested in seeing what changes occurred lower in the rev range rather than peak.

    next on the list is:
    front and rear dash cams
interior map lights etc changed to white LEDs
getting the headlights modified for HIDs
Daytime running lights under the fog lights like the kits you see on ebay
getting both done eventually through AV-DC and Loudz Creations here in Adelaide

so dads VY (my old car) has been overheating lately and he couldn't work out why, he changed everything and it was still doing it. The previous owner only had water in the system so the fluid was brown from rust when I bought it but I flushed it and replaced it and it was fine until now.
replaced the radiator and decided to cut it open to see if it was blocked at all and it was.

Don't put pure water in your cooling system......

    Well that sucks balls.

At least it was only a rim rather than more extensive damage from hitting something else.

Fuel pump & power steering died at the same time ?

Got it back, $400 for a new pump assembly. The power pin for the pump was a bit melted so they guy said its probably an electrical issue like a short somewhere. So might happen again at some point... and I can't afford to buy new pumps all the time nor pay someone to check the loom... so may have to sell it.

Has it still got condensation in the tail light ?

Probably a long shot but might have caused the short ?

$400 for remove old pump, install and fit new pump seems way too cheap. New pump is $250+, takes at least three hours, do you know how it was done so cheap?
