Yeah, I was told the same.

A catback exhaust wont void the warranty, but if you extractors as well, then say bye to the warranty.

You can just put a quad tip on from the cat to the back.

You buy a V6, wonder about mods to make your **** better, then decide your holden warranty is more important than performance. Did your wife buy your car?

lol, not everyone can afford a V8 chief...it was a simple question did you wake up with something jammed up ya date that morning?

Blackery, your free to do whatever mods you want as some manufactures supply warranty with the products they sell but obviously wont be covered under holden

Was on my p's at the time and wanted to get into a more reliable car (owned a xr6 at the time that had problems) Would have loved to buy a V8 but couldn't

I hear a supercharger won't void your warranty, actually that isn't really a joke, evidently a Walkinshaw supercharger won't and is legal.

I have a feeling? Is your engine an LLT?
No? If not, I do not think you can install extractors?
I think I read somewhere that any 3.6L after the LLT has a single port exhaust header system, built into the heads, like the 3.0L does.
Makes exhaust upgrades a bit of a waste of time

VE SV6 manual
I asked several dealers this same question:

They all said catback exhaust is fine and Cold Air Induction is fine!!

Just keep your standard stuff mate and if it plays up bad change it over before taking it into a dealer

OTR, or any CAI, won't void warranty IF you put the stock box back on before you take it in for repairs and service.Cat Back also, not your fault the stock exhaust got a hole in it from speed bumps is it?
