2013 Holden Ve Omega 6 speed steptronic not working

Hi All, My son's Omega 2013 Ser 2 3 lt Ute 6 speed Auto started leaking Trans oil out of bell housing (180000 ks) Removed gearbox replace front seal refitted box still leaked.
Bought a 2nd box and converter out of VE-VF max 70000 ks.
Fitted same, now no leaks, gearbox changes up and down in auto ok.
Except Steptronic does not work!!!
No fault codes from ecu.
Is it a wiring problem perhaps or does the gearbox (tcm) need to matched to ecu?

I have a similar problem with steptronics except mine isn't leaking anything. Mine when in Park and Neutral its trying to move forward. No reverse. I'll drive using steptronics manual shift and up until I reach a speed of 60ks it shifts down to sports 2 gear on its own.??? What can be done??
