2013 redline, engine light after e85 refuel

hi I bought this car new in 2013 and put a full tank of e85 in it for the first time last night, now after coming back from work today i noticed the engine light is on, is this common? Any ideas what it could be? No notifications on cluster besides the engine light and car drives fine at the mo

Not a silly question, but yes it is e85 compatible and has flex fuel hardware including 1000cc injectors and fuel pump as standard

no worries, for some reason I had the thought that only the SIDI V6 was e85-friendly. You'll need to plug it into a scanner to know for sure why the CEL is on. Let us know how you go and good luck with it.

Ok thanks, any recommendations on a good scan tool? I tried a cheap Bluetooth one from eBay that said it was compatible but it didn’t work very well

those injectors are not standard the e85 injectors holden used are about 42lb

I don't know about the redline but my 2014 ssv has this inside the fuel flap.
I would think the 2013/2014 redline would have the same l77 as the ssv?

GM with an LS have never had to use 1000cc injectors they are huge for n/a, even the LSA/LS9 use 52lb injectors, 1000cc is 95lb

I got a $20 scan tool off ebay and its great can see codes, clear them, see codes cleared in the past, etc
