So I'm running 8.5 on the front and 9 on the back?

Cheers for all the responses so far - much appreciated.

Okay thanks for that - 8.5 on the front and 9 on the rear. Got it!

I'm looking at a set of 19" that are 8.5 all round and with 245 35r 19 tyres.

Will that set up work okay? or will the rear wheels be well inside the guard because of the smaller width?

Cheers again.

where they sit in relation to the guard has more to do with offset than the width

Yeah and generally stock offsets will keep it sitting similarly under the guards ie push it further inwards

Ah okay I see - does anyone know what the offsets are on these stock VF SS-V 19" wheels?

Cheers for all the help - as you can see I have no idea.

For an 8.5 it's +48
For a 9 it's +57

The stock 19x8.5 rims come from Holden with 245/40R19 as the OEM tire

The 19x9 inch rim is fitted with a 275/35R19

Would you get oversteer if you don't have the wider tyres at the rear? The Redline has a very thick rear stabiliser bar.
