2016 Redline purchase in Adelaide

Hello all! I’m a first time poster

I’m calling out for anyone that lives in Adelaide that might be able to swing past a dealer and check out a second hand redline wagon that I’ve just purchased online from Melbourne

Was going to pay a deposit tomorrow and dealer asked if there is anyone I know that could look at the car before I pay for transfer funds and they freight the car over to Melbourne. But I don’t know anyone that can assist me.

Good luck with it mate, but you might struggle to find someone willing to give you the thumbs up on it...bit too risky when we are talking about strangers on the interwebs.

My opinion of the car might be vastly different to yours and that creates all sorts of potential liability issues..

All the best with the purchase though.

If you're not already a member, join the RACV and ask them to arrange a pre-purchase inspection via their SA affiliate.

Well worth the relatively nominal cost as a % of the purchase price and they are an independent 3rd party.

Or RAA check about $300 for a full inspection.

Get a cheap flight inspect drive back to Melbourne, the Raa etc won't really look at paint interior condition in a fussy way

Ehh My RAA check was pretty comprehensive and they'll call you and tell you the same things but more personable than a checklist. plus the PPSR check as well
