My MY17 MSE has them in the dropdown centre seat.
My MY14 Redline does too. Plus the pop out ones in the seat base.
Our MY17 SV6 sportwagin has them in the seat base.
An odd commission in your Redline for sure.
I'd just get the hard plastic centre seat base with cup holders in, fitted.
Maybe yours was incorrectly fitted with the hard plastic back section from the wagon?
Try and get one fitted under warranty. Worth asking.

Damn. We have a very late build (September?) SV6 wagon as well and I just checked that car. It has the one in the seat base! Methinks I got ripped off with the Redline!

Not as much as I did with the Motorsport lol.
You're sure there are none when you fold the centre section down? That seems really odd to me.

FOUND them! You have to pull down the whole centre of the seat, which covers the ski port to the boot. Jeesh!

In my VF Redline, they were in the fold down armrest I thought but maybe I'm remembering wrong. That car also had them in the seat base as well.

Series 2 sedans came without seat base cup holders. S1 & 2 wagons had them.
Series 1 had them in seat base. Just another case of cost cutting... Thinking of getting them fitted to my s2 redline sedan.

If you look at the door in your picture, you'll see a hollowed out section..guess what that's for..? ;)

I've had the car for almost a year but travelling with friends on the weekend we came to realise that there are no rear cup holders in the 2017s at all. Not in the centre armrest nor in the lower seat face in the middle as in previous editions. Is there a way to get these retro-fitted, or is there some alternative?
Buy a Series 1 Redline, better car........
