We’re excited to reveal the 2019 Chevrolet Camaro range! An upgrade to the 2SS model and the introduction to the range of the LT4-powered ZL1 super-car!

Re-engineered by HSV, the Camaro range represents muscle car mastery in its purest and most exhilarating form. Euphoric power, precision engineering, cutting-edge technology and a striking, iconic design combine to deliver a high-performance sports car range that pushes boundaries and gives new meaning to the word legendary.

  • Magnetic Ride Control dampers.
  • Electronically controlled Limited Slip Differential.
  • Brembo performance brakes with 6-piston monobloc front calipers and 390mm two-piece front rotors.
  • Bi-modal performance exhaust system.
  • 20” 10-split-spoke forged alloy wheel.
  • RECARO performance seats.
  • Sueded flat-bottom sports profile steering wheel and gear shifter.

It's a nice thought but no doubt will come at a huge premium.

I've always liked both the new and old model Camaro's, but at first glance I'm not completely sold on the front end of the ZL1
First thing that comes to mind is a Lexus and how they have that gaping big hole in the middle of their front bumpers

News.com - "Priced from $159,990 in manual form (add another $2200 for the auto),"

"Normally priced from $62,000 in the US ($87,400 AUD)"

That is plus on roads too.

Agree. But the Mustang is ugly inside and out, has no room in the back seat, hard to see out of, and has legendary Yank build quality and finish.
The Camaro may qualify for that also.
And the novelty of a 2 door, 2 seater V8 'look at me' sports car than can accelerate quickly to 'hand in your licence' speeds must wear off soon.
Check out how many Mustangs are on Carsales second hand, and 'new' at inflated, optimistic prices.
