the 4.2 and 5.0 red are diffrent diff heads, diff crank, diff pistons im pretty sure you cant put a 5.0 crank in a 4.2 and 5.0 heads wont fit, 4.2 can only be bored out 40 thow and thats not 308 if this was the case wouldnt people be putting 4.2 heads on a 5.0 to up the compression or stroking 4.2??? correct me if im wrong im not to sure!
