i have these on my standard vt and they seem to brush something when i turn right, these should fit ok shouldnt they? or is the noise something else maybe pwr string pump?

depends on the ofset of the rim...
i dunno what it should be with rims suited to commodores but thats the only idea i have as to what would cause it to scrub

Now that my VT is on superlow springs when I turn at full lock the wheel scrapes on the front plastic guard. Could be the same sort of thing.

i have monaro series 1's on my car, i had a quick look and its VERY close to the springs maybe its touching that???

There will be a scrape mark where it is touching.

Must me a VT thing.... not meaning that maliciously!
Caus i have 19inch rims and super low front and so far nothing has every scrubbed up front

my mate has a vt on 18's no probs but its an exec on standard height
check the tyres it will have rub marks if its scrubbing.

It'll be your plastic inner guard,don't worry it will wear itself away over time and hey presto,noise gone.

just had a look and the spring has some scuff marks where the rubber has touched its worse on the drivers side. Will all springs be the same diameter or do some come out further than others. i was gonna lower it but if its touching with standard height i guess i wont be

im running on the same tyre sizes & i dont have any probs but mine is a VX & its lowered
