235 60 17's

Needs some advice, has anyone fitted 235 60 17's to a cross8/adventra

That is something I wanted to know a few years ago, never got a definitive answer, but recommendations that I shouldn't.
A static check may show that they will, but tyres may rub on the sill panel, and inner guard during driving, and I wasn't going to spend money and with possible damage to find out.


Tire size 225/55-17 235/60-17
Section width 225 mm (8.9'') 235 mm (9.3'')
Sidewall 124 mm (4.9'') 141 mm (5.6'')
Tire diameter 680 mm (26.8'') 714 mm (28.1'')
34 mm (5%) taller.

Have you heard of anyone fitting 235/245 65 16’s

Basically anything in those sizes would rub on the front spring seat in a regular Commodore, can't comment on the Adventra but the size you mention above ends up being super similar to the first size you asked about.
