Hi,
firstly hello to everyone, as i'm new here.
...I scored a veII 6.0lt ssv-z wagon.
and put
3" twin X-force exhaust with no middle mufflers
Bullet 100cell high flow catts
Pace maker headers
SS growler OTR
and computer remap.

feels great, the crew at the work shop said they were happy with the power gain (but as if they would say otherwise)

6.0lt came out with 247kw at fly.

What ya reckon? about right or ???

Welcome. Which Pacemaker model? Did you get a dyno printout?

auto or manual? 260 for auto,270 for manual at the flywheel.not sure where you got 247 from?

The thread title refers to 247 at the wheels or? looks a bit low to me but depends on your stock figure beforehand? if they did one that is.

Considering the engine came out with aprox. 270 kw @ the "fly", it's obviously at the wheels.
Peak kw doesn't mean anything.
You could be making 120rwkw all the way to 5000rpm then shoot up to 300rwkw and have a fancy 300rwkw dyno sheet but the car that makes 230rwkw from 2000rpm all the way through 5000rpm then max's out @ 245 will be quicker off the mark.

247 rwkw with those "mods" is on the high end of what one would expect.

Standard 6.0 VE would be about 180-195rwkw, so, as Reaper said, not a bad result.
Its interesting that an LS2 auto in a VE HSV will pull about 220rwkw stock, but a VZ HSV with LS2 auto will pull around 235-240rwkw stock.

My ssv manual l98 had 221 rwkw on a mainline dyno. Xforce extractors and exhaust, orsom otr and tune was 263. So could be right with the growler. Depends on your starting figure

VZ LS2 297kw, VY LS1 287(the last of them were that power I think)
Those figures for the LS2 are off the same Mainline dyno. VZ was my daughters Clubby, and VE was her friends Senator.
A manual VZ Senator was 245rwkw stock.
