Big cams need compression and revs to work. Stocko 5 litres have little of both. Big cam = strong torque/power at the top end. So what you will be doing is moving the power band up the range, sacrificing bottom end drivability. Your other bottle neck is the intake manifold which strangles the motor at even moderately high revs. So, in a nutshell, you are going to build a slug as Blown posted above.

So better off going smaller cam ?

Other than the cool "chugga chugga chugger" idle (just wind down your idle speed a tad in the tune to get the same thing), yeah - less is very often more when it comes to camshaft selection for street motors.

As Reaper said, stock EFI 5 litres aren't a very good candidate for a big cam, they just simply won't work together....IMO, unless you're going to do it properly, leave the engine stock otherwise you will more than likely end up going backwards.

Have a look there, that thread it about cams for stock 5 litres, they won't have the choppy idle like you want but the cam will work with the engine.
