True. Anyway besides the point, is it bad to lightly modify a higher mileage engine? Tasteful/ mild mods only (CAI, headers, valve springs, camshaft).

So, we can confirm that the harmonic balancer is not at cause here?

Also forgot to mention, I can hear ticking quite a bit louder while a pop my head under the chassis.
