I'm looking into a catch can now. Exactly which line does it hook up to?

I'm guessing the line that attaches just in front of the throttle body is for the valve cover breather, not the PCV?

I see a long hose that looks like the PCV under the engine cover, is that the one?

I'm looking into getting one of these cheapies off of ebay:
Black Cylinder Billet Aluminum Racing Engine OIL Catch Tank CAN Reservoir Hose | eBay

I can open that one up to see what's inside, and if it doesn't have any baffles I'll just add a couple of stainless steel scourer pads, they should do the trick nicely.

I haven't even seen a 3L SIDI motor so maybe a few pictures of what you're would help.

Filling up a catch can with the steel wool is a good idea - a bit of baffling stops the vapour a bit too.
