I’m just wondering if anyone can give me any info on where this Blue engine originated. The only thing I know about it’s past is that it was pulled from the back of a cement mixer, it had been used to turn the barrel for a few years. Other than that I’m pretty sure it’s had a re-stamp.

which suggests it’s high and low compression Which definitely contradicts itself. Edit (I’m a fool)

Any help would be appreciated. Cheers

Why would a restamp suggest it is high and low compression? It cannot physically be both at the same time unless some cylinders are so worn they are low on compression.
The engine number prefix WL = WB series High compression 3.3 litre (202ci)
The cast date looks like 2 M and a 1? = 2nd December 1981

I don't believe this engine has been restamped. It has had the number T1838 added to the pad which could be an engine re-conditioners job number or a number associated with the cement truck it was installed to or something else.

Wow sorry mate. I was totally fooled by the WL stamp. I don’t know why but my eyes saw “H/“ , As in H and L. It’s all good that was my fault cheers for the help man
