I am looking at buying a 3 window dash cluster and trip computer for my VS ute "96". Just want to know before I go and buy it, will these plug up to my existing wiring harness, if i currently have speed alert. If not, what other things do I need. Am I going to run into any other troubles??? Please Help!!!!
VS Upgrade to Level 3 Cluster Hi, It can be done, but it is not a straight swap. The wiring for the trip computer will not be there. You will need to source a wiring harness from a Berlina/Calais/Statesman, and make a patch harness for the connector 4 on the cluster. Only clusters from VR/VS are suitable. I finished mine two days ago, and am totally pleased with the outcome.
