Iam a turbo boy as well (F6) and only 300rwkw is exactly that, thats a mild tune. Most of the boys I cruise with run 350 - 450rwkw and E85 is now the fuel of preference. Instant power, drive in a 330rwkw turbo, retune for E85 bang instant 370rwkw. I drive a sportwagon for my company car and I think its the best wagon around.

If it's "ony" 300kw then your car is very very heavy.

300kw is a fast car. Don't bother comparing it to other cars.

Also this thread isn't about hairdryers. The OP is comparing a blown 8 and NA 8.

Been through this.. the 6 speed is a $2000 extra. Spend that on the VE and it will still win.

    :D

The new FORD V8 will wipe the VE's lineup though.

The old BOSS motor was a truck motor in essence reslapped to fit into a sedan.Think of the new HO as a refined pure passenger car version.

The BA's have a very tall first gear and coupled with the less than desired engine setup and quad cam the powerband is narrower than the pushrod V8 as a rule of similar size/technology.With diff gears and a convertor it brings(BA)(as BF run 6 speed and different box/diff gearing)back to the field.A lack of compression across the board puts any real gains from cam changes with these two models also, higher comp pistons ect are needed. The HO has all these areas covered though.

Heres this to wet your tastebuds.Yanks version of what we have.Notice the lack of ci on the Ford but doesnt seem to hamper it at all lol.IT IS BAD ASS!!!!!!
YouTube - 2011 Mustang 5.0L vs Camaro 6.2L Drag Races Like I said,Fords now have something for you pushrod lovers to worry about. They will be prowling the streets near you soon.

    xr6 with 5 speed 390nm can't beat the Sv6 with 350nm. At best it's pretty much equal with a $2000 option.

    Talk about fail, lolllll
