hey, you know that crap looking intake pipe that goes from the airbox to the throttle body... here is a pic...

does anyone know if / where you can get a smooth substitute piece of piping in either metal or plastic (one that is NOT corrogated)

help would be great!

it is corrugated ...on purpose
to allow for engine movement.
Any smooth rubber/plastic pipe or hose would either pull off the
throttle body or airbox when the engine rocks on its
mounts

the only way to get a smooth inlet hose
is to NOT connect it to the filter airbox
..use a separate pod filter instead

You can use 2 silicone hoses, 4 clamps and some 3 inch stainless steel pipe from an exhaust place cut to length. It will flex and get air into ur throttle body no prob and it works as I have had it on my car 4 2 yrs now.

i use something called TURBO COLD AIR INTAKE ALUMINIUM FLEX PIPE.

its the way to go
