308 roller rockers vn heads question

Off particular topic but still on the 308 to vn heads thing.. I've ordered my cam from CrowCams today and I said I wanted to keep the mechanical fuel pump. The guy said I can remove the pin from the new 304 cam and replace it with the one off my existing 308 one. Anyone done this to maintain mech fuel pump??

Just use a low pressure electric pump. It's not hard to swap pins though.

just get a set of stud mounted crane gold rollers....cheap and good quality ....cheaper than the shitty mace so called high ratio rockers for the 3.8 6banger

edit* oh right yeah, kinda needs to be installed onto the engine with pushrods and **** to work.

I'm fairly sure you have to machine the heads to accept those stud mounted rockers
