308 with VN heads problem

Hey all got a 308 with VN heads going into the VH just wondering can I bolt up the power steering pump that was on the original 253 onto the VN heads or do I have to use a power steering pump from a Vn - vs ?????

Cheers mate, so the original bracket from the 253 that holds the pump should also bolt up to the VN heads??? Are the bolt holes on the front of VN heads the same as a 253/308 heads ???

Yes, I put a VN pump bracket on a 308 with B cast heads.

Early p/steer equipment can fit,just neater & simpler to use later model vn-vs k frame,steering rack,pump,lines etc

Clearances will be ordinary if not hit fitting decent extractors & keeping early p/steering rack/k frame

You sure about that? I just spoke to my mechanic and he said that headers will fit up fine using all the earlier equipment with the VN heads, he said he has done it before..

These headers say they fit
