Calais V6 3.8
Hey guys. I got a 91' holden calais v6. To cut a long story short...is it possible to drop a 350 chev in this...My questions are (I almost know next to nothing about v8s..)
1.Where do I start?
2.What do I need?
3.Where can I find a cheapish one new/second hand in NZ.
4.will a plain mechain fit this for me?
5.How much money am I looking at?
6.What would be good common cars to drop a 350 in easy...?

All help wanted..thanks.

cost would be about the same in the ned when you consider you dont have to buy special things to make it fit like custom headers and engine mounts plus itd be easier to pass rego as the ar came out with that engine type

you can score some factory opel parts that help - we had a south african cavalier, was just a vb wagon factory 283, factory bow tie grille we put a 350 in it and basically replaced the whole drive train with that of a v8 vl (sth africans did some weird things lol)

had custom factory pressed chassis rails and an opel steering box (drivers side was slightly thinner close to the fire wall and both sides had sleves pressed in for strength

ive posted pics before shouldnt be too hard to find
