It will be interesting when the local Holden dealer to actually sell the last locally built car they will ever get in. That means it truly is over.

1 and a bit years after Falcon ended, 3 remain in new stock according to Carsales, one at a stupidly inflated price (XR8 Sprint at 90+k!!!)

its certainly going to be a change to the local car landscape, i don't think a lot of people (outside of this forum) realize what we are giving up.
A very sad day indeed.:(

And over 180 new Territorys. Probably because buyers don't know they are still available. Will Holden ignore any possible left-over stocks of the 'old' Commodore when the 'new' Commodore arrives. Discounts ? Inflated asking prices ?

Your post is an oxymoron, bro ;)

Yeah, it's disappointing.
I read last year that Holden are supposed to be keeping their 'design' office here in Oz and maybe a few administrative roles.
At least we are good at digging big holes in the ground and shipping our dirt offshore so other countries can value add and sell us back useful products, while we rack up massive debt for the privilege.
Maybe we should ship all our politicians and bureaucrats offshore while we're at it.
Anyway, Aussies these days seem more interested in non-productive and unsustainable land price speculation and house flipping...
So fear not, our $1.7 trillion property market will save us..

With less than four weeks to go, I'm wondering what the final month's production will comprise and how many cars will be made.

Any theories?

think there will be plenty of stock next year, the inflated prices atm from most deales will make sure of that.

Holden played it well, remember when dealers were screaming that there 17 allocation was small etc yet there are so many redlines etc for sale atm.
