Boost is a measure of resistance. What that means is unique to every stock motors condition. Everything you said is some theory room rhetoric not relevant to a PD on a stock motor or the OPs enquiry in general

 

[VF Sleeper]

I picked up my 2300 Harrop VF Series 1 Calais 6.0 less than 2 weeks ago. 413 rwkw. I'm just loving it. All I want to do is drive and put the boot in. The blower whine, low- to mid range grunt and acceleration is amazing. Not sure if you need a stroker; but it won't hurt.
