has anyone fitted 4:11 diff gears into their VN-VP V8 commodore?

I'm considering it but just curious as to how it drives & what sort of RPM it sits on at say 60 - 80 & 100kp/h

its not the everyday car but if its going to be revving like crazy when cruising it may be a better idea to look at another ratio?

Cheers

If its not purely a track car, 3.9s is the max i'd go.

I have 3.73s, and its a good medium gear. Not sure on the rpm, rarely look at the tacho.

agreed the 4:11 diff gears are only good for strip/launch thats one of my next upgrades for the vn it relay depends if ya want a cruise car go for just above the standard gears especially if ya do highway driving then ya get a bit of push but still have low end reves in top gear the 4:11 diff gears are bad if ya do any highway driving in my opinion

4.11s will sit you on 2500rpm at 100kph.

4.11's are burnout gears, especially if you got a puss V6 with no grunt:p

I swear standards rev at 1900rpm in overdrive (0.70:1) at 100kph.
