426 HEMI into 84 VK

Hi i have a 1984 VK Commodore running a black 202 motor and am looking to make an engine upgrade. is it possible to put a 426 HEMI into this car?

you need to do a lot of cutting and shutting to fit a BB motor into a VK. And it would be near impossiable to pass engineer and rego

well it was just a cool thought for a minute there.. any other suggestions for big v8 engines i can put in my vk? i looked at a 350 chev but i'm still power hungry how bout a 2005 5.7 Dodge HEMI?

gee the new Hemi might actually fit. A 350 chev can fit but its costs a fair bit to do. Can i ask why you haven't thought about a 308?

i thought about a 308 but i want something bigger. if the new hemi fits that would be great. can anyone confirm that a 2005 Dodge HEMI will fit?

How much HP do you want
A good stroked 308 will make an easy 500 hp for 20 thousand.

hi clinker42, i found a standard vk 308 out at my local wreckers. can you give me a full run down of what i would need to do to it with a few brands and estimate prices included to achieve max power? thanks
