Considering 4L60e to 6L50 swap
In VE V6 LPG/Petrol Series 1
Torque convertor gone so tranny has to come out anyways
Can I?
Should I?

not going to be easy
new tcm, wiring loom, shifter

Will not have to worry about the tcm as the 6l50 tcm is built into the tranny.
But as above.

yep, you are correct

There is a thread where some champion of champions dropped one in a VZ Crewman.
Great thread.

Great thread.
you thinking about the 6l80 for the v8?

No point putting a 6 speed in - the 4 speeds are a good transmission. If you want a 6 speed, sell the car and buy another with the features you want.

Would agree with EYY. Saves all the shagging around. You might find it cheaper especially if you find someone who says they have done the conversion before and hasn't. You will love the six speed auto.
