Agree with CcoastCalais re supercharging.

With my VS V8 Calais, I went the natural aspirated 355 then 383 route. With my VX GTS, I went the natural aspirated 427 route. Now that I own a VF2 supercharged GTS, I wonder why I wasted all that money in the past, when supercharging would have resulted in more power/torque, and in a much more usable form throughout the rev range.

Having had both the L98 and the 5.0

I'd take the 5.0 any day of the week, in fact I did. I found the LS in stock form that dull and boring compared to the 5.0 I sold it.

In terms of drivability on the street the 5.0 has much more character and is a lot more fun to drive. On a track I'd take an LS but for every day driving you can't beat the sound, feel and low down torque of the Holden.
