5 x VE REAR K-frame questions...

I have a 2010 VE HSV GTS with a stuffed rear K-Frame.
so before I investigate some wreckers...
and plan is to source a replacement and swap over the internals (ie: diff, disks, MRC etc..)

Q1.. Is the HSV unit beefier than the std VE's K-frame?
Q2.. Will a different year VE K-Frame fit the 2010 chassis? (ie: say one from a 2008 VE..)
Q3.. Is the V6 K-frame same as the V8 K-frame? (just so I may swap out it's internals)
Q4.. Any difference in sedan and ute?
Q5.. and K-frame gear (ie: diff, disks, MRC etc..) Can I just take off existing parts and bolt into the replacement?

kinda difficult to research this online eh!

Easiest to drop the whole K frame complete then swap everything over on the floor.

Hi, just FYI.. some feedback after the operation.. for others..
The K-frames are nearly the same..
everything swapped over a treat.. except..
I had to drill 1 extra hole for the little MRC actuator torsion rod (not sure of it's real name?) to bolt into.
1 end the frame had the hole.. but the other end didn't?? go figure..
everything else transposed nicely.
