My vh oil pressure gauge has been acting as a oil light switch since the conversion. Soon as pressure is up gauge goes to max, the gauge is acting as a pressure light due to the vn conversion it's got the vn sender.
Is it as simple as getting a vh 308 sender and changing the wiring to suit at the pump?? Or is there more to it.

Cheers

Generally, you'll need to put a tee in so you can run the sender (gauge) and the factory switch (light). The factory oil pressure switch is responsible for the fuel pump cutoff too, so if you have the fuel pump wired up as per vn-vs v8, you'll need to retain the switch.

Oil pressure tee as EYY mentioned so you can have both switches connected up.

Might need stubby tee piece or 90 deg fitting then common long tee piece to clear alternator with factory efi bracket.

Ahh yes that makes sense now as I forgot about the fuel pump side of things. So I'll get some fittings to suit and use both. Awesome fellas Thankyou.

You don't need the fuel pump connected it's only a backup circuit
